The Lake Oswego Review also is hosting a candidate forum at 7 p.m. 'I think because we have a great group of candidates, we have a choice in who we elect and so really understanding the candidates' views on different issues that affect Lake Oswego is important,' Respond to Racism member Terri Kraemer said, adding that the organizations will ask questions related to their missions. Respond to Racism is a group hoping to foster greater racial equity in town, while LOforLove focuses on inclusion of all groups and the sustainability network promotes environmental sustainability.

Katherine Lupton, Charles Bryan, Council President John Wendland, Jeff Gudman, Ali Afghan and Trudy Corrigan are vying for three open seats in the November election. Those hoping to watch should visit the organization's website to sign up for a Zoom link, and a recording of the forum also will be posted on YouTube a few days afterward. Respond to Racism, LOforLove and the Lake Oswego Sustainability Network are facilitating the forum, which will be held online from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Three Lake Oswego advocacy organizations are hosting a forum to help the community get to know the six Lake Oswego City Council candidates.
